You have complete control over setting access levels, logins, and passwords for your family members.
SurfersNet allows you to get all your e-mail through our Web site, as well as through your traditional e-mail programs. This allows you to view your e-mail from anywhere you have an Internet connection. Simply login into our special members-only section and click on "Web Mail" to view your account.
SurfersNet provides anti-spam filtering software for all e-mail accounts. This feature stops e-mail with certain keywords in the subject line and/or the text from even getting to your inbox. SurfersNet has compiled a list of words and phrases used to filter e-mails and welcomes input from members to help stop unwanted e-mail. If you wish to receive all e-mails coming to your account, simply let us know and we can shut off this feature for your account(s).

SurfersNet offers up to 5 e-mail accounts with this package. Additional e-mail accounts can be purchased separately. Our e-mail features Web-based access so you can access your accounts from any location with an Internet connection. Alternatively, you can access your accounts through any e-mail program, such as Outlook or Netscape Messenger.
Our e-mail servers feature powerful anti-spam and anti-virus filters. We prevent thousands of spam e-mails every day from reach our customer's e-mail inboxes. We actively work to add new spam filters to continuously improve our service. Additionally, we prevent thousands of viruses that could have potentially damaging consequences to our customers from even reaching their computers. As with our spam filters, we are continuously monitoring virus activity on the Internet and improving the security of our server to guard against attacks.
SurfersNet offers up to 10 MB of personal Web space that you can use for storage or sharing files. Additional space can be purchased separately. This space is under the domain of surfersnet.com.
The Surf-a-Dex
also features an emergency number list. You can add names and numbers to this
list, then print them out to put on the refrigerator, leave for the baby-sitter,
etc.
Another unique feature of the Surf-a-Dex is the pre-formatted letter and envelope function. When you search for records in the long format in the Surf-a-Dex, you have the option of creating an envelope or letter for each contact. When you choose the envelope, a printer-ready envelope of any standard size (specify in your page setup of your browser) is created for you with your return address and the address of the contact. When you choose the letter, a standard (8 1/2 X 11) business format letter is created for you with the address of the contact already filled in. You write the body of the letter and choose the closing. The Surf-a-Dex will do the rest for you. The letter is ready to print and mail.
The Task Manager allows you to keep track of your own tasks and those of family members and business associates. You can set tasks, deadlines, and priorities to efficiently manage your home or office. Easily add other members to your Task Manager by using the family member setup or inviting business associates to join. Tasks can be sorted by priority, due date, or who they are assigned to. Deleted or keep tasks as an archive of what you have completed.
The online member renewal allows you to quickly renew your membership, whether you choose to renew monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Simply fill out the form and send us a check.
